v0.4.5: Perfectionist


New Ship: The Perfectionist

There is a fifth ship to choose from! The Perfectionist has 65hp to start (10 less than Well Rounded) but gains +5% fire rate and +5% damage per second. These bonuses are reset when you're hit. (These bonuses are additive, so after 20 seconds of not being hit you will have +100% to each stat, doubling them.)

Balance Changes

Just sorta messing around with some stuff here.

  1. Wave Size has increased by 1 in all instances. (Basically there will be 1 additional enemy ship on screen at all times.)
  2. Tier 3 and Tier 4 enemies have had their damage reduced. Wave 11 and Wave 16 presented enormous difficulty spikes and I'd like to smooth those out a bit.
  3. Auto Cannon has had its base critical chance reduced from 10% to 5%.
  4. Rail Gun has had its base critical chance reduced from 25% to 15%.

Quick List Of Things To Come

  1. Adding more SFX to the events that still don't have them.
  2. Adding econ upgrades to the shop. Free rerolls, interest rate increases, max interest amount increases, increasing the odds of rare drops, etc.
  3. Adding upgrades around critical hits. Increasing the percentage is already in there, so this would be more like triggered events. When you fire a critical hit, heal. When you fire a critical hit, get a shield. That sort of thing.
